Many cosplayers strive to give life to characters. One of them has done just that for the main character Chainsaw Man.
Cavin Creations (CavinCreations), posted a tweet of their Chainsaw Man cosplay. Not only did they dress in the Public Safety Bureau uniform, consisting of white buttons with a black tie with Denji’s famous chainsaw’s arms and head, but they could also even get the chainsaws revved up for themselves. The sound of chainsaws is enough to make any devil quake in fear.

The day before, the cosplayer posted an e-mail with a glimpse of their procedure that showed how the chainsaw inside their head worked. In the post, they hung the chainsaw that would normally be attached to their hands onto a broomstick, showing how they could control it. This is the first time Cavin Creations has cosplayed an anime character.
Cavin Creations is known as a maker of Spider-Manprops. They also make outfits from Spider-Man movies like The Last Way Home and The Amazing Spider-Man. Their designs include Spider-Man masks and web shooters that they control hands-free. The cosplayer also posted a recreation of the Spider-Man point-and-shoot Spider-Man meme, along with two other cosplayers.

Many fans have made incredible costumes since the MAPPA-produced anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man. The cosplays vary from Pochita cosplays using someone’s back to a horrifically gory Chainsaw Man. The first serialization was in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2018 through 2020 before moving to Shonen Jump+ starting in July 2022, Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Manhas received high praise for its dark world-building aspects as well as its perversely crude style of comedy. The series has landed in the New York Times Bestseller List several times and won Best Shonen Manga at the Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2021. It beat Teasing Master Takagi-san and Burning Kabaddi. The series also took home the Harvey Award for Best Manga two years in a row against strong contenders like Tatsuya Endo’s Spy x Family, Muneyuki Kaneshiro’s Blue Lock, and Shuzo Oshimi’s Blood on the Tracks.
Chainsaw Manstars is a young man known as Denji He is a bit like an anti-hero. Following the loss of his deceased father’s debt does not see much of a point in living anymore. After meeting the devil dog Pochita, Denji regains enough motivation to continue earning money fighting devils in the hopes that he can live a normal life. This dream is realized when he turns into the menacing Chainsaw Man.
