Jeremy Adams, the writer of the ongoing series The Flash and DC’s animated Super Sons movie teases that the speedster and sidekicks will cross paths.
Jeremy Adams, Flash writer has suggested that the possibility of a Super Sons crossover could be planned for the show.
Twitter user “Would you like to see a photo of [ The Flash#797[The Flash#797]?” In a second tweet, the author said: “It was one of the first images which Serg Acuna sent me.” The story was written by Adams and illustrated by Acuna, Flash #797 is scheduled to be released in April 2023. It’s a “super-speed adventure,” in which Kid Flash/Wallace West is a babysitter for Jai, Irey West, and the Flash Wally West children. Adams posted artwork from Robin Damian Wayne and Superboy Jon Kent in a deleted tweet. But, it’s still accessible on Instagram as of the moment of the writing. This suggests that the two little Super Sons will be appearing in the Flash issue.

Adams is familiar with the Super Sons. The initial Super Sons comic book series came out in the year 2017. Adams wrote the animated film Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons which came out in 2022. The film follows Clark Kent’s son Jon when he joins forces with Batman/Bruce Wayne’s Damian to stop Starro The Conqueror to stop him from taking over Earth.
It is yet to be decided whether the Super Sons version will appear in Flash #797. The solicitation for the issue states “It’s an extremely fast-paced adventure watching babysitting while Flash is watching Jai, Irey, and some new characters from all over space and time!” Ace must return Maxine as well as the twins Maxine from an unplanned sleepover. There are a myriad of possibilities for the identities of the Super Sons might be. They may be Jon or Damian’s younger versions of the comic DC Universe or the same versions that Adams used in Battle of the Super Sons.

Adams already showed a willingness and capability to travel through time and across the Multiverse during his time in Flash. The first issue of his run sent Wally West on a Quantum Leap-like trip through the bodies and speeders. After he was found as the hero of the Super Friends cartoon world and was able to continue his journey on The Flash/em>. Adams has run out of time to develop a FlashSuper Sons / Super Sons crossover in the current issue since Flash issue #800 is the end of his run. The Flash will be revived in September 2023, featuring Simon Spurrier as a writer and Mike Deodato as an artist.
Alongside Adams Acuna, Adams, and others, Flash #797 features both variant and main covers designed by Taurin Clarke, as well as other variant covers created by Yasmin Flores Montenez Daniele Di Nicuolo, and Francis Manapul. DC Comics will sell the issue on April 18.
